Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Mexico City is seeking a Senior Manager of Data Engineering to lead a multidisciplinary agile team that builds high-quality data pipelines and analytic solutions. You will champion data architecture, data engineering, data analysis, and reporting while aligning with the business processes supported by the data platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience delivering and supporting software and data engineering capabilities.
• Strong design and software programming development (Python, Javascript and/or R).
• Strong experience with cloud services within Azure, AWS, or GCP platforms (preferably Azure).
• Experience building full stack data applications (experience with GraphQL is a plus).
• Experience with analytical tools (preferably SQL, dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery, Tableau).
• Hands‑on experience with DevOps and CI/CD processes.
• Project management experience and strong communication skills.
• Self‑Starter, driven with high business process competence.
• Standout Colleague with a positive demeanor and ability to work across different business partner and technical teams to accomplish sophisticated tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and operate modern data architecture approaches to meet key business objectives and provide end-to-end data solutions
• Contribute to building generic frameworks for data ingestion, data processing, and data integrations
• Implements standard methodologies for software design, architecture, and implementation
• Implements monitoring tools/processes to ensure platform stability and operational SLAs
• Extends DevOps capabilities for deploying data solutions
• Acts as a data owner and functional data SME for the assigned area
