Job summary

Solera Mexico City seeks a Senior Manager for Collections and Cash Applications to lead a high‑performing finance team and drive transformational improvements across acquisitions, ensuring timely cash flow and accurate posting.

You will design and implement standardized processes, partner with IT and finance to upgrade systems, establish KPIs, monitor performance, and mitigate credit risks while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• MBA or CPA/CMA preferred.
• 7+ years in collections and cash applications with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the collections and cash applications team, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize collections and cash applications processes.
• Assess current processes and standardize across acquired entities.
• Collaborate with IT and finance for system upgrades and enhancements.
• Establish KPIs to measure effectiveness and report to senior management.
• Identify risks related to credit and collections and implement mitigation strategies.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers to facilitate timely collections and resolve disputes.
