Job summary

Solera seeks a Senior Manager for Collections and Cash Applications to lead the functions across acquisitions and drive transformational change. You will align finance operations with strategic goals, optimize cash collection, and ensure smooth cash application across multiple entities.

You will mentor teams, implement KPI-driven processes, and partner with IT and finance to upgrade systems while maintaining strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years in collections and cash applications, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in automotive or technology sector preferred.
• Proven track record of driving process improvements and managing change in a complex environment.
• Strong understanding of financial systems, accounting principles, and cash management practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the collections and cash applications team, promoting high performance.
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize collections and cash processes.
• Assess current processes, standardize across acquisitions, and drive improvements.
• Design best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in cash flow operations.
• Collaborate with IT and finance to enable system upgrades and integrations.
• Establish KPIs to measure effectiveness and report performance to senior management.
• Identify credit and collection risks and develop mitigation strategies.
