Job summary

Nemak Mexico is seeking a proactive engineer-leader to drive safety culture, quality improvements, and efficient production planning. You will lead cross-functional teams to optimize processes and cost management while promoting sustainability and organizational development.

English proficiency is required for international collaboration. You will coordinate with Purchasing, Process/ Product Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure adherence to standards and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; 5–6 years in manufacturing or production operations, leading teams or shifts.
• English proficiency at a proficient level is required.
• Experience in automotive or manufacturing environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety culture and ensure compliance with internal HSE guidelines to achieve zero accidents.
• Lead quality improvements, develop plans, communicate policies, ensure procedures and coordinate audits.
• Coordinate production workflow including product variety, labor, equipment and raw materials to meet demand.
• Process, consolidate and analyze manufacturing cost information to support budgets and savings projects.
• Develop and promote Nemak values and improve employee satisfaction through leadership and training.
• Promote environmental sustainability by rationalizing gas, electricity, and water consumption and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain integration with Purchasing, Process Engineering, Product Engineering, and Quality teams and suppliers.
• Develop employee capabilities by identifying training needs and scheduling training.
• Participate in New Program Launches with cross-functional teams.
