Nemak Spain SL. is seeking an Operations Manager Machining to lead all machining production operations, drive safety, quality and efficiency, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements. The role emphasizes Lean methods, problem-solving, and continuous improvement across the operation.

The position requires deep CNC expertise, multidisciplinary leadership, and a track record of improving productivity and reducing costs in automotive machining environments.

Formación

• Minimum 7–10 years in machining operations, automotive or metalworking.
• Minimum 3–5 years in leadership overseeing machining production operations.
• Strong and deep technical expertise in multi-axis CNC machining, tooling, and precision manufacturing.
• Proven experience driving productivity, quality, delivery, and cost optimization.
• Advanced knowledge of cycle time optimization, process capability, tooling, fixtures, and stability.
• Experience with new product launches, ramp-ups, and manufacturing process optimization.
• Advanced English proficiency required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage all machining production operations, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, cost and environment objectives.
• Develop and execute operational strategies to improve productivity and performance.
• Ensure production targets, KPIs and customer requirements are met.
• Coordinate manpower, production flow, machine utilization, tooling, and material handling.
• Oversee production planning to guarantee on-time deliveries and continuity.
• Promote safety culture with zero lost-time incidents and risk prevention.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and TPS.
