Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc in Mexico seeks a Lead Business Analyst to support a custom insurance policy administration app with a distributed team. You will investigate production issues, shape clear requirements, and guide delivery through solid documentation and collaboration.

You will create epics, features, and user stories in Azure DevOps, define solution approaches, and coordinate with business users, vendor analysts, and developers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of business analysis experience in insurance-focused systems.
• At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience.
• Azure DevOps experience creating epics, features, and user stories.
• Advanced requirements elicitation and estimation skills.
• Strong documentation analysis skills and ability to produce clear artifacts.
• Solid SQL skills for data investigation and issue analysis.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English (B2+ level).

Responsibilities

• Lead investigation of complex production issues and define actionable next steps.
• Triage and coordinate resolution of production incidents with the core team.
• Create epics, features, and user stories in Azure DevOps for complex functionality.
• Define and document user requirements and solution approaches based on analysis.
• Support configuration activities across rating, UI, error messages, and document prototypes.
• Maintain a shared knowledge repository to capture knowledge transfer outcomes and processes.
• Liaise with business users, vendor analysts, and developers to align on requirements and decisions.
