Job summary

EPAM Systems in Mexico is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to drive automation, observability, and reliability at scale. You will lead initiatives to automate recurring tasks, enhance CI/CD pipelines, and strengthen monitoring and runbooks.

You will collaborate with application teams, manage on-call rotations, and apply AI-assisted approaches to boost productivity while reducing toil. A proven leadership background is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps or platform engineering roles.
• Strong leadership and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Experience with CI/CD, automation, and observability.
• Working knowledge of .NET Framework/C# is not required; focus on tooling and deployments.
• Hands-on with TeamCity, Kubernetes, Python, Linux, Windows, and databases.

Responsibilities

• Transform recurring tasks into automated, observable processes.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines with automated gates and deployment steps.
• Build monitoring, dashboards, alerts, logging, and health checks.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident triage with engineers.
• Drive security, secret management, and dependency visibility.
• Support containerization adoption and runbooks for cross-team ops.
