EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Automation Tester in Mexico to strengthen our QA capabilities. You will drive test automation using JavaScript, Playwright, and API automation, while collaborating with global teams to ensure high-quality releases.

The role emphasizes framework design, code reviews, and mentoring teammates, with opportunities to advance skills through emerging testing methods and AI-assisted approaches.

Formación

• 3+ years in quality engineering or automated testing.
• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript for test automation.
• Familiarity with Playwright or similar JavaScript UI automation tools.
• Experience with API automation for backend validation.
• Version control experience for test code history.
• Expertise in automation framework architecture.
• Experience with JavaScript-based BDD tools.
• Understanding of AI in testing to improve coverage.
• Clear English communication at B2 level or above.

Responsabilidades

• Establish and evolve test automation platforms to meet functional expectations.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to support releases and quality.
• Contribute to early test strategy through design sessions.
• Review automation code and suggest improvements for maintainability.
• Identify issues across automation development stages.
• Mentor less experienced teammates in testing skills.
• Help define test boundaries and scheduling during delivery planning.
• Assess industry practices and incorporate beneficial innovations.
• Document testing approaches and technical standards.
