Job summary

Alcon seeks a Senior Associate, Surgical Field Sales for Mexico City. You will own the territory across Mexico City, Hidalgo, and the State of Mexico, traveling as needed, promoting intraocular lenses, and supporting operating-room teams with consultative selling.

The role emphasizes revenue growth, strong customer relationships, and collaboration with physicians, nursing teams, and purchasing teams in a dynamic ophthalmology environment. Onsite in Mexico City.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Optometry, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of field sales, medical devices, or ophthalmology experience.
• Intermediate English proficiency required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data-driven sales review.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and CRM skills.
• IOL experience is desirable but not required; OR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets while identifying opportunities to improve territory performance.
• Develop new business and strengthen relationships across clinics, including physicians, nursing teams, purchasing teams, and commercial stakeholders.
• Promote Alcon surgical ophthalmic products through consultative selling, product demonstrations, customer visits, and account support.
• Provide in-person support in the operating room and coordinate with multidisciplinary clinical teams.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales activity information, monitor competitor activity, and use data to support territory planning.
