Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Querétaro City, Mexico, seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead corporate interior fit-out projects from concept to completion. You will direct cross-functional teams, manage budgets, schedules and procurement, and ensure delivery within time, budget, and high quality standards.

You will mentor teams, coordinate with architects and engineers, and drive risk management and cost control while adhering to Mexican codes and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in corporate interior construction or fit-out.
• Proven budget management, cost control and financial forecasting capabilities.
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate diverse teams.
• Advanced proficiency in project management software such as MS Project or Primavera.
• Solid knowledge of construction processes, materials and best practices.
• Fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal).
• Familiarity with Mexican construction regulations, codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute corporate interior construction projects, aligning with client specifications and objectives.
• Develop schedules, budgets and resource plans; monitor progress and implement corrective actions.
• Lead and mentor project teams including contractors and internal staff; foster collaboration across phases.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts and oversee procurement to optimize costs.
• Conduct site inspections and quality audits to ensure compliance with standards and safety requirements.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation and contingency plans to minimize delays and costs.
• Maintain detailed documentation and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with architects, designers and engineers to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless execution.
• Track expenditures, provide financial forecasting and analysis to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with Mexican construction codes, regulations and safety protocols.
