Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Lead Planner to drive the development and oversight of all project scheduling activities in a data center construction environment, based on-site in Querétaro. This role requires strong CPM skills and the ability to coordinate across disciplines and contracts.

You will manage baseline programmes, monthly progress updates, 90-day lookaheads, and stakeholder engagement to keep timelines realistic and aligned with contractual commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project planning within large-scale industrial or data center environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project and Primavera P6.
• Fluent in English with ability to present programme information to technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation and management of project schedules using CPM to ensure accuracy from inception to completion.
• Establish and maintain baseline programmes, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and present programme narratives for sequencing, milestones, and dependencies.
• Oversee monthly progress updates and integrate earned value analysis into reports.
• Generate and review planning reports, track performance against baseline and flag deviations.
• Lead 90-day lookahead schedules and propose mitigations; review contractor programmes for integration.
• Foster collaboration with contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders to align expectations.
• Lead scenario planning to support change management and risk mitigation.
• Utilize planning tools and standards that meet client expectations and internal controls.
