Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to lead design, implementation, and management of integrated production and service delivery systems at the Chihuahua site. You will focus on profitability, quality, and continuous improvement across product lifecycles.

The role involves driving cross-functional projects within workcells, optimizing material flow, ergonomic workstation design, and implementing 5S and yield improvement programs.

Qualifications

• Broad range of industrial engineering tools applied in manufacturing
• Understanding Jabil's global strategies and direction
• Knowledge of facility capabilities and alignment to strategy
• Strong financial and analytical ability
• Proven change management and continuous improvement experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency with PC software and engineering tools such as AutoCAD/Visio/Project

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, implement and manage production and service delivery systems
• Drive cross-functional projects within a workcell
• Design optimized human interfaces for SMT and Backend/DF
• Manage material delivery, storage, and line feed systems
• Improve WIP management, buffering and product flow
• Lead Ergonomic workstation design and layout
• Conduct time studies and yield improvement programs
• Provide systems support (SAP, MES, IEDB)
• Support IE SMEs across multiple categories
