Job summary

Jabil seeks a Sr Industrial Engineer to plan, design, implement and manage integrated production and service systems. You will drive profitability, quality and continuous improvement across life cycles, leading cross-functional projects and optimizing workcells.

Responsibilities include designing interfaces for SMT/DF, time studies, yield programs, and systems support (SAP, MES, IEDB). Strong analytical and communication skills required to succeed in a global manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Broad range of industrial engineering tools (work measurement, simulation, process mapping, facilities/workstation design, operations research).
• Understanding of Jabil's global strategies and direction.
• Understanding of site's facilities and how they tie back to Jabil's strategies.
• Strong financial and analytical ability.
• Proven track record of change management and cost reduction programs.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design optimized human interfaces for SMT and Backend/DF in various areas.
• Propose and drive cross-functional projects within a workcell.
• Own and drive yield improvement programs.
• Time study analysis and work measurement.
• Systems support (e.g. SAP, MES, IEDB...).
• Develop/Sustain/Improve all assembly processes.
• Box build quote and products.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
