Job summary

Versigent is building a dedicated Workday Center of Excellence in Mexico. We seek experienced Workday professionals who will act as senior subject matter experts across Core HCM, Absence Management, and BP Framework, partnering with global stakeholders to optimize the platform and deliver HR technology initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Workday configuration experience within an internal HRIS or enterprise environment.
• Deep, demonstrable expertise in Workday Core HCM, Absence Management, Supervisory Org Architecture, and Business Process Framework.
• Hands-on experience configuring complex accrual formulas, time off eligibility rules, and country-specific statutory absence plans.

Responsibilities

• Core HCM & Organization Backbone: Full lifecycle configuration and governance of supervisory organizations, custom organizations, company hierarchies, cost center links, and matrix management structures.
• Absence Management Architecture: End-to-end design and configuration of global Absence components, including time off plans, accrual rules, absence types, calculation tables, cascading balances, and statutory compliance leave rules across multiple countries.
• Dual Staffing Models: Build, scale, and govern Position Management for corporate salaried staff and high-volume Job Management for manufacturing shop-floor workers in one tenant.
• Business Process Framework: Design, test, and optimize complex lifecycle BPs (Hire, Move, Job Changes, Terminations, Request Time Off, Leave of Absence) with robust condition rules, validations, and step configurations.
• Job Architecture: Maintain and structure global job families, job profiles, grade profiles, and management levels across multiple international jurisdictions.

We are seeking experienced Workday professionals and collaborative team players who bring deep hands-on expertise and strong communication skills to our growing team. Reporting directly to the HRIS Manager, you will act as a senior subject matter expert across Workday, partnering closely with global stakeholders to support day-to-day operations, drive continuous platform optimization, and deliver strategic HR technology initiatives.

What You Bring:

• Hands-on experience configuring complex accrual formulas, time off eligibility rules, and country-specific statutory absence plans.
• Working knowledge of other functional areas (Talent, Compensation, Recruiting, or Security/Reporting) is advantageous.
• Strong working knowledge of EIBs, calculated fields, and business process condition rules.
• Experience designing for large-scale, high-turnover workforces.
• Fluent English communication skills with clear technical and functional documentation abilities.
