Job summary

Flix, a dynamic travel tech company, seeks an Expert General Ledger Accountant to lead hub GL processes, coordinate budgeting and tax, and ensure timely closes across entities. You will support audits, strengthen controls, and drive improvements with cross‑functional teams.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of GL experience, IFRS knowledge, Mexican tax familiarity, and ERP experience (Oracle Fusion). Bilingual English/Spanish skills are essential for global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 8+ years of accounting experience with strong GL knowledge.
• Solid IFRS knowledge and financial reporting.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, accruals.
• Knowledge of Mexican local tax compliance.
• ERP experience, preferably Oracle Fusion.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Lead GL processes for hub entity, budgeting and tax coordination.
• Oversee GL accounting activities across entities and monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.
• Support audits with documentation and explanations.
• Deliver accurate accounting services and improve processes.
• Drive cross-functional process integration with AP/AR/Tax/Treasury/FP&A.
• Communicate proactively with management and stakeholders; manage risks.
• Own continuous improvement and contribute to accounting transformation projects.
