Softtek is seeking a Senior General Accountant for a fully remote role, with potential linkage to Zapopan, Jalisco. You will oversee the general ledger, close processes, and prepare financial statements, while ensuring NIF compliance and robust internal controls.

The role emphasizes bank reconciliations, audit support, and the implementation of improved accounting policies in a remote-first, fast-growing tech environment.

Formación

• Extensive experience in general accounting, financial reporting and compliance.
• Familiarity with Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIF) and related regulations.
• Remotely driven, detail oriented and well organized for a remote-first environment.

Responsabilidades

• Manage general ledger functions including journal entries and month-end close.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports in line with standards.
• Ensure compliance with NIF and other applicable regulations.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and explanations.
• Assist in developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decisions.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Utilize cloud-based accounting software in daily workflows.
