Job summary

TK Recruitment presents a Chief Accountant role in Mexico City, within a FinTech focused on innovative financial services. The incumbent will manage all accounting processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and support microloan operations.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in a Chief Accountant role, a degree in Accounting or related field, strong NIF and IFRS knowledge, audit experience, and advanced English for international coordination.

Qualifications

Must have 2+ years as Chief Accountant, preferably in financial institutions or credit-focused firms.
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline.
Strong knowledge of Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIF) and IFRS/NIIF.
Experience with internal and external audits and local financial regulations.
Proven ability to prepare regulatory reports for CNBV, SAT, and other agencies.
Fluent in Advanced English for international coordination.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage all accounting processes, including credit operation records.
Prepare and timely present financial, tax, and administrative reports.
Monitor accounting of interest, reserves, and operations per standards.
Coordinate internal and external audits; liaise with CNBV, SAT, IMSS, and others.
Ensure compliance with tax and legal obligations.
Design strategies for financial and fiscal optimization.
