Job summary

EPAM Systems in Mexico is seeking a Senior GenAI Engineer to design, build, and operationalize agentic AI solutions on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore for a contact center transformation initiative. You will implement multi-agent workflows and integrate with Amazon Connect to automate customer interactions.

You will craft prompt strategies, assemble context, ensure safety and governance, and deploy serverless architectures using Lambda, Step Functions, and API Gateway while focusing on production

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in AI/ML engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock for generative AI apps.
• Proven experience in building generative AI/LLM applications and prompts.
• Experience building agentic/multi-agent workflows with tool integration.
• Strong Python development and API creation skills.
• Solid understanding of AWS serverless architecture (Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway).
• Excellent English communication skills (B2 level or higher).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement multi-agent workflows on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore.
• Build agentic AI solutions with tool use, memory management, and orchestration.
• Develop prompt engineering and context assembly strategies for production workloads.
• Integrate AI capabilities with Amazon Connect contact center flows.
• Deploy LLM-powered apps using Bedrock foundation models.
• Build RAG pipelines and knowledge bases for grounded outputs.
• Create conversational AI experiences for customer channels.
• Implement guardrails, safety controls, and governance measures.
• Deploy solutions using AWS serverless services to ensure scalable architectures.
• Build evaluation, observability, and cost-optimization pipelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and iterate solutions.
