EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior AI Agentic Developer to lead GenAI initiatives for retail-focused applications. You will design, build, and maintain AI-powered solutions using Python/FastAPI backends and React/TypeScript frontends, with Vertex AI and cloud orchestration at the core.

You will mentor teams, implement advanced orchestration patterns, and ensure high quality, scalable solutions with strong observability and cost control across the full stack.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience with generative AI and agentic development.
• Experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot.
• Proficiency in GenAI design patterns, cloud platforms, and observability tools.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain AI-powered apps using Python/FastAPI and React/TypeScript.
• Own GenAI systems end-to-end including architecture, delivery, and production support.
• Collaborate with AI coding assistants to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.
• Develop design specs with solution engineers and product teams.
• Implement LLM orchestration patterns, including RAG, prompts, multi-agent workflows.
• Build observability pipelines for AI platforms and monitor metrics and costs.
• Mentor teammates in agentic development practices and prompt-engineering.
• Analyze cross-platform trade-offs across backend, frontend, and AI services.
• Troubleshoot, fix root causes, and push software enhancements.
• Communicate risks and blockers to maintain timely delivery.
• Manage concurrent deliverables and production requests.
• Use LangFuse, Grafana, Dynatrace, Splunk for monitoring and analysis.
