Job summary

Harbour Energy in Mexico City seeks a senior Contracts Manager to lead development and optimization of gas pipeline contracts. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, cost-effective agreements that meet project schedules. Strong negotiation and EPC experience are essential.

Applicants should have extensive contract management experience in oil & gas, English fluency, and the ability to oversee supplier performance while mitigating risks in a complex regulatory environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
15+ years of contract management and cost engineering experience in oil & gas.
Fluent English; Spanish native.
Experience with offshore EPC contractors and large infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

Execute contract development processes from tender to closure and support pipeline cost estimation.
Prepare cost breakdowns (materials, labor, equipment, logistics) and support bid development.
Maintain records of negotiations and changes to validate cost assumptions.
Ensure legal, regulatory and corporate contract compliance.
Develop strategic relationships with EPC contractors and suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance and manage disputes/renegotiations.
Identify and mitigate contractual risks and conduct regular contract reviews.
