AgileEngine is seeking a Full Stack Tech Lead to guide a squad and build backend services with Java/Spring Boot, supported by an Angular frontend.

You will drive technical delivery, design robust RESTful APIs, and move architecture toward a domain-driven structure, mentoring junior developers and ensuring high engineering standards. You will collaborate with product and UI teams, define technical strategy, review code, and champion best practices across the software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a tech squad and mentoring juniors.
• 6+ years in Java (Spring Boot) and Angular.
• Hands-on Kafka experience.
• Strong OOAD and design pattern knowledge.
• Domain-Driven Design with bounded contexts.
• RESTful API design and consumption.
• SQL skills with PostgreSQL and Oracle; JPA/Hibernate.
• Backend-focused mindset and scalable architecture.

Responsibilities

• Act as Squad Lead, drive delivery with high engineering standards.
• Design and implement robust backend services using Java/Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain the Angular frontend and connect UI to backend.
• Lead modernization toward domain-driven architecture with bounded contexts.
• Architect RESTful APIs with clean patterns and proper HTTP verbs.
• Mentor teammates and promote Agile practices across the team.
• Push back on design choices to preserve architectural integrity.
