The role focuses on designing scalable RESTful APIs, driving domain-driven design, mentoring engineers, and delivering high-quality software in a fast-paced environment. Remote-friendly flextime and competitive USD compensation are offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading squads or tech teams.
• 6+ years with Java/Spring Boot.
• Strong Angular frontend experience.
• Hands-on Kafka experience.
• Solid understanding of OOAD, patterns and architecture.
• Deep knowledge of domain-driven design (DDD).
• Extensive RESTful API design and consumption experience.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/Oracle) and JPA/Hibernate.

Responsibilities

• Act as Squad Lead, driving delivery while upholding engineering standards.
• Design and implement robust backend services with Java/Spring Boot.
• Develop and maintain the Angular frontend to integrate with backend services.
• Lead architectural modernization toward a domain-driven model with bounded contexts.
• Architect RESTful APIs emphasizing correct verbs and scalable patterns.
• Mentor the team and promote agile practices.
• Provide thoughtful pushback to maintain architectural integrity.
