AgileEngine is seeking a Full Stack Tech Lead to guide a squad and build backend services with Java and Spring Boot, supported by an Angular frontend. You will shape architecture, mentor developers, and drive delivery of high-quality software for Fortune 500 brands.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience as a Tech Lead or Squad Lead.
• Java (Spring Boot) and Angular with at least 6 years of experience.
• Hands-on Kafka experience.
• Strong grasp of OOAD/OOD, design patterns, and architectural patterns.
• Domain-Driven Design with strong bounded contexts.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful services.
• Relational databases experience with PostgreSQL and Oracle; familiarity with JPA/Hibernate.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership & Execution: lead the squad and maintain high engineering standards.
• Core Development: design and implement backend services with Java and Spring Boot.
• Frontend Integration: build and maintain the Angular frontend and connect to backend logic.
• Modernizing Architecture: transition to a domain-driven structure with bounded contexts.
• API Excellence: architect RESTful APIs with proper HTTP verbs and scalable patterns.
• Team Mentorship & Agile Practices: mentor juniors and promote agile practices.
• Strategic Pushback: advocate for best practices and architectural integrity.
