Job summary

General Mills in Mexico City is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive FSQ across external manufacturing sites, acting as regional auditor and FSQ expert. You will lead risk assessments, audits, and corrective actions, partnering with Sourcing, Supply Chain, and R&D.

The role requires travel up to 50% to support audits and improvements. The ideal candidate has strong FSQ capabilities, HACCP/HARPC knowledge, and a track record of improving multi-site quality programs in a fast-paced food

Qualifications

• Bachelor- or master-level degree in a food-related field and regulatory familiarity.
• Experience leading FSQ risk assessments, investigations, and CAPA programs.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally to support audits.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute FSQ audits for a defined region.
• Identify gaps and communicate risks to leadership with clear pri orities.
• Coach sites on corrective actions and verify effectiveness.
• Partner with Sourcing, Supply Chain, and R&D to improve FSQ processes.
• Use data to drive continuous improvement with ESC partners.
