Job summary

Flexing It seeks an experienced advisor to upgrade a leading India-focused investment platform's foundry operations in Mexico. The role focuses on no-bake technology, green sand and improving quality for large iron castings (3-5 tonnes).

Key responsibilities include driving process improvements, identifying root causes of defects, upgrading moulding and pouring processes, and mentoring production and engineering teams to achieve manufacturing excellence.

Qualifications

Experience upgrading green sand and no-bake foundry operations.
Ability to drive process improvements for large iron castings (3-5 tonnes).
Experience identifying root causes of defects and reducing rejection and rework.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and improve existing green sand and no-bake foundry operations.
Drive process optimisation for large iron castings (3-5 tonnes).
Identify root causes of casting defects and implement measures to reduce rejection and rework.
Upgrade foundry technology, including moulding, core-making, gating, risering and pouring processes.
Improve manufacturing productivity, process efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Establish quality-control systems, process standards and SOPs.
Introduce global foundry best practices and manufacturing excellence methodologies.
Train and mentor existing production, quality and engineering teams.
