Flowserve Corporation seeks a Subject Matter Expert – Castings to provide deep technical and strategic expertise across the casting supply base, enabling best-in-class supply chain performance. You will lead supplier development and manufacturability improvements to deliver high-quality, cost-effective cast components aligned with category strategy.

The SME will serve as the primary technical authority for casting processes and supplier capabilities, supporting proactive strategic initiatives,

Qualifications

Metallurgist or material science background preferred with gating systems knowledge.
10+ years of experience in supplier development and supplier quality.
Experience with casting processes (sand, investment, die, shell, permanent mold, open/closed forgings).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Responsabilités

Provide technical leadership for casting strategies and long-term sourcing plans.
Collaborate with engineering to optimize designs for cost, quality, and performance.
Lead supplier development to improve quality, delivery, cost, and capacity.
Assess and improve underperforming critical suppliers with KPI-driven plans.
Support supplier selection and footprint optimization; manage key supplier relationships.
Identify risks and implement proactive mitigation and business continuity plans.
