Job summary

MAHLE is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator - Foundry in Mexico to lead a maintenance organization responsible for melting furnaces and related systems. The role focuses on reliability, availability, and performance while guiding a team of supervisors, technicians, and support staff.

The ideal candidate has a technical engineering degree and 5+ years of leadership in manufacturing maintenance, with strong skills in KPIs, safety, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field related to maintenance.
• Minimum 5 years leading maintenance teams in manufacturing.
• Experience supervising multi-level maintenance organizations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience driving maintenance KPIs and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a maintenance organization of supervisors and technicians.
• Ensure reliable, available, and high-performing foundry equipment.
• Coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Promote safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor KPIs like MTTR, MTBF, and downtime reduction.
• Support production with timely resolution of equipment issues.
• Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts, and external service providers.
• Coach staff to build capability and succession plans.
• Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Plant Leadership.
