Schneider Electric is seeking a dynamic Business Finance Commercial Senior Specialist for US. The role ensures project controlling aligns with corporate standards and oversees accounting of project transactions, while communicating risks and opportunities to leadership.

Reporting to the US Project Controller, you will drive financial analysis, forecasting, and risk management across NAM projects, partner with account teams, and deliver quarterly reviews and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• Issue resolution to identify issues and risks, analyze and understand underlying causes and devise appropriate actions plans.
• Strong financial and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and develop actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of financial professionals.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Dynamics, etc.).

Responsabilités

• Conduct financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions at a project and program level.
• Work closely with the account teams and executive leadership to execute financial strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability, while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
• Prepare quarterly business review process for each project controlling scope, in coordination with leadership and Sales / Operations teams
• Provide strong control, analysis and control of Inventory at integrator/consolidators, including supporting on quarterly confirmation and annual physical count.
• Drive to completion the standardization and centralization of all Project Controlling functions within NAM Ops
• Continue to align with Group and implement policies/procedures in NAM to support the End-to-End Project Solutions methodology, (Denali and CAT ABC Project).
• Prepare and present financial reports to key stakeholders.
• Ensure financial reports both P&L and BS are accurate, timely and comply with the accounting standards/regulations and Schneider policies/GCP.
• Participate in the rolling forecast and latest thinking processes for orders, sales and GM for the respective projects in scope.
• Monitor actual performance against forecast and make necessary adjustments.
• Asses, manage and respond to financial risks
• Lead quarterly workshops in coordination with accounting to elevate risk and recommend provision approach for risks and opportunities.
• Active participation and business partnering in the Risk Escalation Level process
• Coordinate with Treasury team to develop and monitor cash management strategies to optimize project cash flows.
