Job summary

Schneider Electric seeks a Plant Business Finance Controller to support Pacifico manufacturing operations and partner with plant leadership to drive financial performance. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, monthly reviews, and cost management while ensuring strong internal controls.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
6+ years of progressive experience in Finance or Accounting.
Experience in manufacturing finance, plant controlling, or operations finance.
Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cost analysis, and internal controls.
Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Professional working proficiency in English.
MBA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification.
Experience in multinational manufacturing organizations.

Responsibilities

Partner with plant leadership to drive operational and financial performance.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial review processes.
Analyze manufacturing costs, productivity, and KPIs to identify risks and opportunities.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decisions.
Ensure accurate month-end close activities, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Monitor balance sheet accounts and support audit, tax, and statutory compliance.
Support capital investment evaluations and business cases.
Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and other business functions to achieve objectives.
Lead and develop finance team members when applicable.
