Job summary

Versigent seeks an experienced attorney to support labor and employment matters across the Americas, with emphasis on Mexico. You will advise HR and business stakeholders on employee relations, policy interpretation, hiring, discipline, and separations.

Responsibilities include drafting employment agreements, supporting due diligence in M&A, managing claims with outside counsel, and monitoring regulatory developments to manage risk and compliance.

Qualifications

• Attorney with 10+ years advising on labor and employment matters.
• Experience in HR matters, investigations, and policy interpretation.
• Licensed to practice law in Mexico; bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day legal support to HR and business stakeholders on employment issues.
• Draft, review, and revise employment-related agreements, policies, and trainings.
• Support labor and employment due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.
• Manage employment claims and coordinate with outside counsel.
• Monitor regulatory developments and advise on risk and compliance.
• Maintain matter tracking, reports, and internal compliance processes.
