Job summary

Confidential Careers is seeking a senior employment & labor law counsel to manage and defend the company in employment and labor litigation, advise on compliance, and draft employment-related policies and agreements. The role requires 5+ years of corporate or law-firm experience, advanced English (B2), and solid MS Office skills.

Location flexibility is limited to Guadalajara or Puebla, with relocation possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of legal experience in a corporate environment or in a Law Firm.
• Advanced English level (B2).
• Intermediate MS Office package proficiency. Detail oriented and strong time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and defend the company in employment and labor litigation and administrative proceedings.
• Advise on employment law compliance, employee relations, investigations, and risk mitigation.
• Draft, review, and update employment agreements, policies, procedures, and related legal documents.
• Conduct employment law compliance audits and recommend remediation measures.
• Manage outside counsel, litigation strategy, and legal budgets.
• Monitor legal developments and proactively advise stakeholders on emerging employment and labor risks.
• Maintain litigation and employment law files and ensure appropriate documentation and record retention.
