BairesDev in Mexico is seeking a Senior Elixir & Phoenix & AWS Engineer to design, build, and maintain highly concurrent, scalable backend services and cloud infrastructure. You will develop robust REST and GraphQL APIs, deploy and monitor cloud environments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product needs into reliable engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on Elixir and Phoenix.
• Proven expertise with OTP and building concurrent systems.
• Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with AWS cloud deployment, database management, testing, and observability.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

• Design and develop scalable backend architectures and highly concurrent systems.
• Build and optimize high-performing, secure APIs to enable seamless communication between services.
