Placements24 is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Design Engineer for a fully remote role based in Mexico. You will design and develop complex electrical systems for next‑generation products, perform EMC analysis, and collaborate with international teams from a distributed environment.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in power electronics or system design.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical system design for complex electronic products.
• Expertise with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro).
• Proficiency with circuit simulation software (LTspice, PSpice, ANSYS).
• Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design, power management ICs, and microcontrollers.

Responsibilities

• Design, simulate, and validate electrical systems remotely.
• Develop detailed schematics, BOM, and power architectures.
• Collaborate with firmware and mechanical engineers for system integration.
• Perform EMC/EMI testing and mitigation techniques.
• Create design documentation, test plans, and rationale.
• Troubleshoot prototype issues and provide solutions.
• Participate in virtual design reviews and cross-functional meetings.
