Placements24 is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer for Renewable Energy Systems to join a fully remote engineering team. You will conceptualize, design, and develop mechanical systems and components for solar, wind, or other renewable energy applications, collaborating with engineers across geographies.

You should have a strong background in mechanical design, proficiency in 3D CAD and CAE tools, and a passion for sustainable technologies.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks, CATIA or Inventor) and CAE tools (ANSYS, Abaqus).
• Strong knowledge of material science, stress analysis, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and remote collaboration skills.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop mechanical systems for renewable energy applications (solar, wind, energy storage).
• Create detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and specifications using advanced CAD software.
• Perform structural, thermal, and kinematic simulations to optimize designs (FEA/CFD).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote setting and participate in virtual design reviews.
• Prepare technical documentation, test plans, and reports for stakeholders.
