• Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design, power management ICs, and microcontrollers.

About the Role

Our client, an innovative technology solutions provider, is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Design Engineer to join their globally distributed team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute from anywhere in Mexico. You will be responsible for designing and developing complex electrical systems for next-generation products and applications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong theoretical background combined with practical experience in circuit design, power electronics, and system integration. You will collaborate closely with international engineering teams, product managers, and R&D departments using advanced remote collaboration tools. Key Responsibilities

• Design, simulate, and validate electrical systems and subsystems for new product development, working entirely remotely.
• Develop detailed electrical schematics, component selection, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Design power distribution architectures, including AC/DC converters, voltage regulators, and power management circuits.
• Collaborate with firmware and mechanical engineers to ensure optimal system integration and performance.
• Perform electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) analysis and design mitigation strategies.
• Create comprehensive design documentation, including technical specifications, test plans, and design rationale.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues found during prototype testing and provide solutions.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in electrical system design and recommend innovative approaches.
• Participate actively in virtual design reviews and cross-functional team meetings.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field with a specialization in power electronics or system design.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical system design, with a focus on complex electronic products.
• Expertise in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro).
• Proficiency in circuit simulation software (e.g., LTspice, PSpice, ANSYS).
• Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design, power management ICs, and microcontrollers.
• Experience with EMC/EMI testing and mitigation techniques.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage complex design projects in a remote setting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in both Spanish and English.
• Experience with high-voltage systems or renewable energy systems is a plus.
