Bluelight is seeking a seasoned DevOps/SRE professional to join our growing team. You will design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, ensuring reliability and security for diverse client projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, and S3.
• Experience operating Aurora/PostgreSQL in production with multi-AZ failover and read replicas.
• IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Containerization with Docker and ECS/Fargate; CI/CD pipelines.
• Deployment automation, rollback drills, latency/SLO management.
• Monitoring/observability with OpenTelemetry/CloudWatch.
• Load testing with k6; latency budgets.
• Security-first approach: vulnerability scanning, secrets management, compliance.
• Support for SOC 2 audits and client security reviews.
• Incident response, on-call rotations, root-cause analysis.
• Experience with large, complex systems; overlap US business hours.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Ownership, accountability; client-focused.
• Strong problem solving and meticulous attention to detail.
