Job summary

Bluelight is seeking a senior DevOps/SRE professional to join our growing team in a remote-capable role. You will design, implement, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, with emphasis on security, observability, and reliable deployments.

You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage Terraform or CloudFormation, and collaborate with US and Latin American clients to ensure excellent service delivery. A Bachelor's degree is required, and strong ownership is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles.
• Experience with AWS services: ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, S3.
• Experience running Aurora or PostgreSQL in production with multi-AZ, read replicas, and monitoring.
• IaC experience: Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Containerization and orchestration with Docker and ECS/Fargate.
• CI/CD development and deployment automation with rollback drills.
• Monitoring, logging, and observability tooling experience (OpenTelemetry/CloudWatch).
• Security-first mindset with vulnerability scanning and compliance practices.
• SOC 2 audit support and client security reviews.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, deployment, and maintenance of scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with secure deployment practices.
• Operate and monitor services with strong emphasis on latency and error budgets.
• Support incident response, on-call rotations, and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with global teams across US/Latin America to ensure uptime and reliability.
