MATTE is a 360° full‑service creative studio based in Mexico City. We are seeking a Senior Designer who blends conceptual thinking with expert craft to deliver bold branding, campaigns, experiential, and digital work.

You will own projects from ideation to execution, collaborating with strategists, copywriters, and producers. The role reports to a Design Director in a fast-paced studio and offers a hybrid work model.

Formación

• 5–7 years of professional design experience in agencies, studios, or brands.
• Portfolio showing branding, digital, print, campaigns, and experiential work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma; strong typography and layout skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

About this Role

We're seeking a Senior Designer to join our growing Mexico City creative team. This role calls for a designer who is equal parts conceptual thinker and expert craftsperson—someone who thrives in a fast‑paced studio environment and brings strong creative instincts to every project.

You'll collaborate across MATTE's diverse portfolio of clients and internal teams to create bold, elevated work across branding, campaigns, experiential, content, and digital platforms. Reporting to a Design Director, you'll own projects from ideation through execution, helping shape visual direction while delivering exceptional creative work.

What You'll Do

Design Execution & Creative Leadership

• Concept and design innovative, compelling creative across digital, print, experiential, social, and brand platforms.
• Lead the visual development of branded content, campaigns, and experiences from concept through final execution.
• Translate strategic insights into thoughtful and visually engaging creative solutions.
• Collaborate closely with strategists, copywriters, producers, and creative leadership to bring ideas to life.
• Adapt design systems and creative approaches across a variety of industries, brands, and audiences while maintaining a high level of craft and consistency.
• Present design rationale and creative thinking internally and to clients when appropriate.

Collaboration & Cross‑Functional Support

• Partner with the New Business team to create pitch decks, mockups, visual narratives, and presentation materials that help win new work.
• Lead and support project teams across multiple clients and workstreams.
• Participate actively in creative reviews, brainstorms, critiques, and team discussions.
• Design and format visually compelling presentations aligned with both MATTE and client brand standards.
• Ensure all deliverables are production‑ready and organized according to studio best practices.
• Mentor and support more junior designers through collaboration, feedback, and example‑setting.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of professional design experience within an agency, creative studio, or brand environment.
• A portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual thinking, visual excellence, and execution across branding, digital, print, campaigns, and experiential work.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, visual systems, color theory, and art direction.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary creative teams.
• Currently based in Mexico City (CDMX)
• Motion design, animation, AI‑assisted creative workflows, or 3D experience are considered a plus.

MXN $850,000–$1,050,000 gross annual salary , depending on experience, portfolio quality, and overall qualifications.
