MATTE PROJECTS in Mexico City is seeking an Associate Design Director to join the remote team on a full-time basis. This role translates creative strategy into visual systems and oversees design across brand identities, campaigns, digital experiences, content, and experiential projects.

The role partners with creative leadership, designers, strategists, producers, and account teams to ensure work is conceptually strong, beautifully executed, and consistent across every touchpoint.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years in design, branding, advertising, or related field.
• Strong portfolio showing visual craft and design systems.
• Experience leading design across brand, campaigns, digital and experiential.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Experience directing and mentoring designers while hands-on.
• Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead the visual development and execution of integrated projects from concept through delivery.
• Develop brand identities, design systems, campaigns, digital experiences and experiences.
• Translate concepts and insights into clear visual directions.
• Remain hands-on while guiding other designers with feedback and mentorship.
• Oversee multiple projects and maintain high craft standards.
• Present design concepts to internal teams, leadership, and clients.
• Collaborate with creative directors, copywriters, strategists, producers, developers, and partners.
• Ensure visual consistency across digital, social, content, environmental and physical touchpoints.
• Help strengthen the CDMX design team’s processes and culture.
• Stay current on design, technology, culture, AI and tools.
