AgileEngine in Querétaro is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to architect, build, and scale a modern data platform. You will design production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines, optimize Snowflake schemas for analytics, and establish robust DataOps practices to ensure data reliability and accessibility.

You will orchestrate workflows with Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster, ingest data from REST APIs and event streams, and apply software engineering standards including CI/CD, Docker, and IaC.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Python, modular and well-tested code.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and normalization/denormalization.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.
• Experience with REST APIs, event-driven architectures, and batch/streaming pipelines.
• Experience implementing automated data quality checks, data lineage, and alerting.
• Strong experience with Git, Docker, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain reliable ETL/ELT workflows for batch and streaming data.
• Design production-ready Snowflake schemas to optimize analytics.
• Ingest data from REST APIs, event streams, and batch sources into core storage.
• Maintain and expand workflow orchestration pipelines (Airflow/Prefect/Dagster).
• Implement automated data testing, lineage tracking, and alerting frameworks.
• Drive CI/CD, maintain codebases with Git and Docker, and use Infrastructure-as-Code.
