Job summary

DoorDash is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join the Tax Data Mart team. You will own ingestion, transformation, and control of data for analytics, building scalable pipelines and supporting analytics across the company.

You will design and operate data pipelines, optimize data models, and collaborate with Analytics, Data Science, and business partners while leveraging AI tooling to automate recurring tasks. Strong communication and project management skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or similar role.
• Experience designing and maintaining scalable data systems.
• Experience with SQL, Python, Snowflake, and modern data stack tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Develop and optimize data models and warehouse structures for analytics.
• Collaborate with Analytics, Data Science, and business partners to validate new data sources.
• Document requirements and maintain data tooling and pipelines.
• Monitor data quality and observability; resolve data issues.
