Job summary

DoorDash is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join the Tax Data Mart team in Mexico City. You will own data ingestion, transformation, and control processes to power analytics and decision-making across the company.

You will design and operate scalable data pipelines, optimize data models, and collaborate with analytics and business partners to implement new data sources and tooling. Strong SQL, Python, and modern data stack experience required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related role.
• Experience with DBT or similar tooling to manage data flows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT) across the company.
• Develop data models and warehouse structures to support analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with Analytics, Data Science, and business partners on data sources and quality.
• Document data systems, processes, and requirements for new initiatives.
• Monitor data quality, reliability, and observability; resolve data issues.
