Job summary

DoorDash is seeking an experienced Data Engineer for the Tax Data Mart team in Mexico City. You will own data ingestion, transformation, and governance, building pipelines and infrastructure for analytics and decision-making while enabling scalable data systems across the company.

You will design, implement, and operate data pipelines, models, and warehouse structures, collaborating with Analytics, Data Science, and business teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in data engineering or similar role.
• Experience with DBT or similar data flow management tools.
• Proficiency in SQL (Snowflake) and Python for building pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT) powering analytics across the company.
• Develop data models and warehouse structures to support analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with Analytics, Data Science, and business partners on new data sources and requirements.
• Monitor data quality, reliability, and observability; resolve data issues for internal stakeholders.
• Document data systems and processes and share best practices across the team.
