Job summary

Nestlé in Mexico City is seeking a CyberSOC Incident Response Senior Specialist to manage security incidents end-to-end, identify threats, and strengthen defenses. You will lead investigations, provide guidance to L1/L2 analysts, and develop detection use cases in SIEM and other security tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or another similar relevant degree.
• 5+ years of cyber incident response and/or cyber security experience.
• In-depth understanding of threat based IS/IT security, latest security technologies and concepts, threat management, cyber security incident response and vulnerability handling.
• Experience with cybersecurity tools including SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus and endpoint detection & response solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical cybersecurity investigations on security incidents, root cause analysis, recommend and mitigate effects.
• Provide technical Incident Response guidance to L1 and L2 Analysts and escalate unresolved incidents.
• Identify, design and build threat detection techniques (use cases) in SIEM and other security solutions.
• Identify best practices and improve standards, processes, procedures and guidelines for risk mitigation.
• Keep key business stakeholders updated/engaged in security incidents and developments.
