Job summary

ZEISS is seeking a senior SOC Analyst to lead the day-to-day operations within the Cyber Defense Center in Mexico City. You will coordinate with the MSSP, drive threat hunting, and advance detection and response across SOC tiers.

You will own the SIEM/SOAR lifecycle, define hunting objectives, and deliver monthly KPI dashboards while maintaining high visibility and operational excellence for a global technology leader.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT Security, or related field.
• Several years of experience in a Security Operations Center, incident response, or threat detection role.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with technical/executive audiences.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, SOAR, and EDR technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the Cyber Defense Center (CDC) and set direction for monitoring, investigation, and incident response across SOC tiers.
• Act as primary interface to MSSP and senior escalation point for complex investigations.
• Shape threat hunting activities and drive measurable, governance-aligned initiatives.
• Drive evolution of detection and response capabilities with cross-functional teams.
• Own the SIEM/SOAR detection lifecycle, including onboarding and rule tuning.
• Define threat hunting objectives aligned with CDC goals and produce monthly KPI dashboards.
