Job summary

Nestlé in Mexico City is seeking a CyberSOC Incident Response Specialist to manage security incidents, perform investigations, and drive containment and remediation efforts. The role requires 3+ years in cyber incident response, with strong knowledge of SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus and EDR, and a degree in CS or Information Security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Security.
• 3+ years of cyber incident response experience.
• Strong understanding of threat-based IS/IT security and incident handling.
• Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus and EDR tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical cybersecurity investigations on security incidents and root cause analysis.
• Provide incident response guidance to L1/L2 analysts and act as escalation point.
• Design and implement threat detection techniques (use cases) in SIEM and other security solutions.
• Identify best practices and contribute to process improvements and lessons learned.
• Keep key business stakeholders informed on major security incidents and developments.
