Job summary

ZEISS in Mexico City seeks a Senior Cyber Security Incident Responder to join the Cybersecurity Incident Response Team. You will lead and support incident analysis, containment and recovery efforts, and escalate major risks to the Incident Commander.

You will collaborate with Digital Forensics, Threat Intelligence, and other IR roles, delivering thorough root cause analyses and formal incident reports for authorities and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Several years of professional experience in cybersecurity incident response, SOC, DFIR, or cyber defense environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructures, networks, operating systems, and cloud environments.
• Experience mapping activity to MITRE ATT&CK and deriving response measures.
• Familiarity with incident response frameworks such as NIST or SANS.
• Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as a permanent member of the Cybersecurity Incident Response Team (CIRT).
• Execute and support incident response activities including analysis, containment, and recovery.
• Escalate critical findings and risks to the Incident Commander.
• Provide technical guidance and collaborate with DFIR and Threat Intelligence teams.
