Talisis is seeking a Level 2 SOC Analyst for a fully remote position. You will monitor alerts, analyze threats, and coordinate incident response from a home office, contributing to a global security program.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in SOC, strong SIEM/EDR experience, and a solid understanding of TTPs, Windows/Linux, and networking. This role emphasizes proactive threat detection and collaboration in a remote team.

Key Responsibilities

• Document investigation findings, incident details, and response actions.
• Stay updated on the latest cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of SOC playbooks and procedures.
• Collaborate with other security analysts and teams to ensure comprehensive security coverage.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment, preferably as a Level 1 or Level 2 analyst.
• Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, LogRhythm) and EDR solutions.
• Strong understanding of common attack vectors, malware, and threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
• Familiarity with network protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and security fundamentals.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative remote team.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CySA+, GSEC are a plus.
• Experience working in a fully remote capacity is highly valued.
