Job summary

Thales in Mexico City is seeking a Sales Engineer for our Cloud Protection & Licensing portfolio. You will serve as the trusted technical advisor for LATAM accounts, guiding discovery, RFP responses, solution design, and proof-of-value engagements from start to finish.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pre-sales experience in cybersecurity or enterprise software.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on with WAF, Bot Management, or DDoS solutions.
• Strong English (B2+) and Spanish communication.
• Experience with cloud/container platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker.
• Familiarity with PCI, SOX, HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical sales cycle from discovery to proof-of-value engagements.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-focused narratives for technical and C-suite audiences.
• Build trusted partnerships with engineering, IT leaders, and executive decision-makers.
