Job summary

Teradata is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Cloud FP&A team, driving infrastructure cost analysis, cloud allocations, and financial reconciliations. You will partner with regional teams, Corporate FP&A, and Cloud Operations to ensure accurate monthly reporting and forecasting.

You will manage cost allocation, develop the chargeback model, and support cloud cost presentations for executive reporting. Strong Excel and ERP experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance or financial planning roles.
• Strong understanding of cost allocations, cloud infrastructure financial models, and GL processes.
• Experience with financial systems such as EPB, PCM, Oracle, Smart View, or similar.
• Advanced Excel skills; comfortable handling large data sets and pivot tables.
• Experience in month-end/quarter-end close processes, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed infrastructure cost allocation and chargeback validation.
• Coordinate monthly and quarterly financial processes, including PCM and EPB rules and reports.
• Maintain and improve the chargeback model (credits, debits, amortizations).
• Reconcile billing systems vs. Cloud Zero reports and investigate discrepancies.
• Support HC actuals vs. forecast reviews with regional leads.
• Prepare and update various reports (Cloud P&L, Demo/POC, Shared Cost allocations).
• Execute and validate Journal Entries through PCM rule execution.
• Identify and lead automation or process improvements across systems and reports.
